Enrichment Programs
School doesn't have to end at 11:45 AM at Trinity Preschool! Trinity Preschool of Berwyn offers a variety of fun and educational school enrichment programs for all currently enrolled students.
Enrichment programs are available Monday-Friday afternoons. Programs are available in both the morning and afternoon on Mondays and Fridays. Enrichment programs are semester-long programs (September through January, January through May). Children must be potty trained. Children should bring their lunches.
Afternoon Enrichment programs start at 11:45 AM and dismiss at 3:00 PM on Main Avenue in carline. Morning Enrichment programs start at 9:00 AM and dismiss at 11:45 AM.

Monday PM Enrichment with Miss Lisa
Little Chef’s Edible Art/Cooking
Children will be given opportunities to participate in fun developmentally appropriate cooking experiences by preparing edible art. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary and the importance of good nutrition by planting an indoor herb harden. Edible Art is a program that is designed to enhance the child’s creativity in a tasty way. The child’s problem solving skills and creativity are enhanced while they discover how food can be transformed into tasty art. Most of the projects use healthy ingredients. The classes transform ordinary foods into masterpieces. Have your child explore the tasty world of edible art.
Tuesday PM Enrichment with Mrs. Claffey
Come ride on the pretend “Trinity School Bus” to explore the United States
We will stop in different states each week and explore points of interests and favorite foods. Our first pretend stop will be Phila., PA, exploring “Ben Franklin’s first post office” and the Betsy Ross House where the American Flag was made. Also, we can’t forget the “Fireman’s Hall Museum”. We will make Philly’s famous soft pretzels. Each week the children will make a craft and a snack.
Tuesday PM Enrichment with Miss Lisa
Let’s go on a Book Adventure
Your child will learn to love books by going on a book adventure! Each week the children focus on a book. The class will make a craft and snack related to the story. Then using prompts, children will act out the characters. The class will also learn a new word from the book and its meaning while being introduced to letter sounds and vowels through special songs each week. At the end of the session the child will create their own illustration story book.
Wednesday PM Enrichment with Miss Lisa
Animal Classification – Mammals, Reptiles, Birds, Amphibians and Fish Science
Children love to learn about animals! Each week, the class will learn about special topics that separate the different kinds of animals. By the end of the session, they will know facts such as mammals and birds are warm-blooded and they can make their own body heat even when it’s cold outside. The children will make a craft, sing songs and read a story about the animal.

Let’s Read and Move! PART II
The adventure continues….. with new books and activities for the second semester. Shake ,jump, wiggle and dance! These are a few of the ways we’ll move during our book adventures! Every week we’ll read some fun children’s books and follow up with lots of games and activities. Wear your sneakers and bring your imagination…. And get ready to move and learn!

Exploring Science all Around Us. PART II
We learned so much in the 1st semester, we’re adding new activities and experiences. What? Why? and How? These are just some of the questions we’ll try to answer as we look at the world of every day science. In this enrichment, we’ll explore different science concepts such as density, gravity and magnetism. Through hands on activities we’ll have fun learning about the amazing science that’s around us every day!

One Day Fun Days
Are you bored and looking for some “rainy day” fun? Here you will find some fabulous days of learning using art, music, movement, games and snack time activities . We will be looking at some everyday themes in extraordinary ways. Some of our One Day Fun Days will include Black and White, Fizzy Foamy, Jingly Wiggly, Ring-a-Ling, Slippery Slimy, and Tiny Tiny. Mark your calendar for some unique celebrations too, umbrella and tortilla chip day. These are one day themes that will bring weeks of fun for our child.
